Linda Geary: Slowdown Summer Blanket

Linda Geary's art is a product of her cutting, revising, and repairing techniques. She often relies on collage and stitching to craft her pieces, while erasure, concealment, and blending play a substantial role in her process. Textiles lend her abundant scope in terms of shape, color, and pattern, which she uses to explore diverse ways to assemble her creations. Geary has been featured in exhibitions across the globe, including renowned institutions such as the Berkeley Museum/ Pacific Film Archive, Oakland Museum, and Yerba Buena Center For the Arts.
